The Amani Collective is a non-denominational, community-based organization built by people from the community who understand the conditions our people face and the kind of support neighborhoods truly need.
"Amani" means peace and that word reflects our commitment to building Zones of Peace in the places where support, safety, opportunity, and healing are needed most.
We work to address barriers connected to poverty, violence, educational inequality, food insecurity, unemployment, health challenges, and other systemic hardships by creating practical, people-centered programs rooted in communitiy care.
Our goal is to help build communities where young people and families are not only surviving, but growing, leading, and shaping a better future.
Too often, communities are expected to live with limited resources, broken systems, and few safe places for young people to turn. The Amani Collective exists to help change that.
We believe that when communities have access to consistent support, positive spaces, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for growth, stronger futures becomes possible. Our work is about meeting real needs while helping create lasting change.
